We've had some good snow around here since Saturday. It's funny because it only snows in the Seattle area a few days out of the year so people tend to freak out a bit. No one knows how to drive and there aren't a ton of plows so the roads are slick. Anyway, we had snow on Saturday and again for a bit on Sunday. Devon had a blast playing outside with her friends! We got more snow on Monday night and then we had tons of storm warnings and talk of up to 12" of snow over 24 hours!
I personally live in a convergence zone where weather tends to hit harder than it does elsewhere so I decided to work from home today. I wouldn't be nervous about just myself on the road but I just was't comfortable with driving/having Eric drive the kids anywhere.
We had a fun day. I worked a lot while Devon and Jensen played and colored. Then I worked out at home while they napped. After they woke up and ate we bundled up and went outside to play! It was SO cold out! My hair was icy from the snow falling. Devon played with our neighbor who was shoveling his driveway. He's 30 but he doesn't mind hanging out with us a bit. Devon liked playing catch with snowballs with him.
Eric's work closed early too so he got home in time to play! I measured on our deck and we had 6" of snow!
