Christmas Morning Part 1...

We started off Christmas morning just our little family of 4. We usually don't get much time to do our Christmas because everyone expects us to come to their houses therefore we need to leave our house at 8:30ish. I woke up and got the hash brown casserole's ready and in the oven while Eric fed Jensen. Then we got Devon up. While she was going potty, she yelled down the stairs and informed me that I was getting a "pretty cup". Ha, it's very apparent that we won't be able to include her in any Christmas shopping next year!

We had a good time opening gifts and got some of it on film...until the camera died (Eric always forgets to charge the camera before big events, it's like a tradition now). We got the kids a bunch of toys. My favorites for them were Jensen's big dinosaur that stands up and is almost as tall as Devon and his ball popper. Devon got a new leap frog game and a stuffed penguin from the movie Happy Feet (which is what she asked the mall Santa for).

Eric got some new ties and shirts for work and some movies and games. I got a nice mirror that is on a stand for our bedroom. Eric also got me the Bodybugg which is an arm band that you wear all day and it tracks how many calories you burn. So far it's been cool actually seeing what I burn since I normally just use a free website online and it guesstimates calories burned when you exercise. Oh, and of course I got a pretty cup :)

We opened presents for about an hour and then we headed over to my parents house (which will be part 2).

Devon and her recorder...in retrospect this may have been a poorly thought out gift on my part.

Looks like a fun Christmas morning. Yeah, I think I would regret that recorder too! The big dinosaur looks/sounds cool!!

Looks like a fun morning! We visited some friends on our Thanksgiving trip and their girls had recorders, and from then on we vowed to never let one in our house, LOL!

I got Marlee a "band in a box" from Melissa and Doug...it has a recorder, harmonica and lot's of other noisy things. In some ways I am regretting that decision, but in other ways its so fun. :)

I bet Devon loves her recorder! :)

Looks fabulous!!!
