Christmas Eve Part 2...

We headed over to my mom's house after my dad's. This celebration is with my mom's side of the family and my great-grandma. It's always a big gathering and a lot of fun! My parents really went all out with great decorations and a lot of good food and drinks.

We ate dinner first and then cleaned and visited for a while. They guys all congregated in the basement because my step-dad had redone their pool table and it is really nice! So, they were all down there playing pool and what not and the women all hung out upstairs talking and cleaning (cliche much?).

Before we gathered in the living room to open presents we had a big surprise for the kids. Santa showed up to my mom's house! Devon was a little hesitant about this. She is totally fine with the mall Santa but having him show up at my parents house may have been a bit too close for comfort.

After Santa left we opened gifts and hung out in the living room for a while.
I had a lot of fun and it was another really relaxing Christmas Eve.
